From the Risser Reunion President;

Welcome to the Risser family website! My name is Brian Risser and I am an 8th generation descendant of Peter Risser, who immigrated to the United States in 1739. He settled in the Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania area as a farmer, and many of his descendants, including my family, still reside in the surrounding areas of Lancaster and Lebanon Counties.The extended Risser/Reesor families of North America have traditionally joined for a combined family reunion every five years. This alternates between Pennsylvania, USA and Ontario, Canada (Markham area). It is always an exciting time as families and individuals travel from many states and provinces to celebrate, renew old acquaintances, make new acquaintances and just visit. This year, in June of 2005, it will be our turn to host the reunion in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. Please plan to attend!
